SunsetBlue Sunset Aperture is a film production company founded by James Hughes in January 2016 to produce thought-provoking short films and features for the international market place.

The first of their productions, The Velvet Abstract, is a short environmental film produced on six continents and featuring talent from The Hunger Games, Avatar, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Martian, and many more. The film is narrated by Tobias Menzies and has been scored by the world-renowned Composer Jean-Pascal BeintusIt is currently on the film festival circuit.

Sunset Aperture immediately followed up this ambitious film, with The Inuring. Shot across one day at Cherryduck Studios the film is now on the film festival circuit.
