JamesHughes James Hughes has Directed for TV, Stage and Short Film.

He was also hired to be a Speaker for the Screenwriting Expo in Hollywood, where he taught a popular class on short filmmaking to students from around the world.

Along with this, he serves on the Writers’ Guild Film Committee.

His current short film, The Velvet Abstract, has been produced on six continents, and features CG and animating talent from The Hunger Games, Star Wars, Avatar, Game of Thrones, The Martian, and many more. This environmental film is narrated by Tobias Menzies and has been scored by the world-renowned Composer Jean-Pascal Beintus. The film has won 12 awards to date, including 10 for Best Film.

James followed this with The Inuring which won 20 awards including Best UK Short FilmBest Director, three times, Best Narrative Short Film, twice, and Best in Show.
